Tropical? Well, one can always dream I guess.
I don't like winter so much as I used to, probably because I used to live where winter wasn't a dark and dreary occasion, and I didn't sit confined in a dark room during most of this dark and dreary occasion... once it starts snowing it's OK, but until then it's just a depressing season. Cold too. Holiday's however I do like.
I think the pre-snow period is nice, but the post-snow/pre-melting period is absolutely awful.
I suppose when we get older some holidays lose the charm maybe

I truly enjoy winter mostly because of how beautiful it can get even in dangerous conditions. I feel its sad thanksgiving gets pushed aside so much. But I love the warm feeling Christmas brings and New Years! The excitement is so worth it!
