Sorry to hear about your cat. My friend got a bunny earlier this year which she named Ganondorf. I wish you luck on your junior year. I myself am starting my final year of high school and am currently regretting taking an AP plus two honors courses.

AP class plus two honors courses?

Yikes man. I wouldn't put myself through the torture of that. I take two honors classes and then two level 1 classes (right below honors) and then of course electives. But AP anything is bound to be ridiculous.

Well, it's really not as difficult as Honors English 3. The difficulty of last year's course was porbably also highly influenced by the stories we read. By that, I mean older stories such as the works of Hawthorne and Irving were much harder to follow since they use different language than what people use today. I mean, I just finished reading a book for my class the other day, and it was a breeze to read because it was only written about 20 years ago. I'm just dreading all the writing I have to do.

And as for my other honors classes, I take Chinese and Forensics which are only offered as honors courses. Forensics is particularly difficult because it's part of a dual enrollment program with Syracuse University. Because of that, the class is very similar to taking a college class. Trust me, it's hard...we were assigned a two page report on a branch of forensics (that we had never even learned about before) on the first day of school that was due less than a week later. It's gotten better though. So what honors courses are you taking?

Hawthorne? UGh. I had to read Scarlett Letter last year, took me forever to read it. I grew to loathe the man.

Chinese is offered as a course? We only have Indo-European languages at my school. The standard four: Spanish, French, italian, and German. I take Spanish, I think it's the easiest IMO. We've got Forensics at my school, but it's a relatively new course and I don't know anybody who took it so I'm not completely sure how it works, or what level it is. I'm taking Physics for my science this year.

lol, I have to read that this year. We're doing a lot of Shakespeare this year, too. We're reading Macbeth right now and we'll be reading Othello later on. I'd rather be reading Hamlet than Othello because I'm a huge Lion King fan (The Lion King is based off of Hamlet).
I wish we had German as a language class. We just have French, Spanish, and Chinese (which has only been around since last year). Our Forensics class is also relatively new, I think since either last year or the year before that.
But yeah, Forensics has gotten slightly easier since that monster report. Physics, lol, that was definately the easiest science course I took in the past four years. Then again, it was the only science course I didn't take honors in because my school has a requirement that you have to take honors math in order to take honors physics. I know physics is highly math oriented, but I didn't think it was as math based as they made it seem.

cool! how are you man? im chris! long time-no-see!

i like that you are now in junior year, and the fact that you got your driver's licence is GREAT!
