october is just another month to me. As long as it isn't november or whatever the month is that I have no holidays I'm ok with it. I used to love spring untill global warming started to kick in and it became hot. August is probably my favorite month. Either that or july.
I don't really like August, maybe July, but still love October.
Also, Global Warming by human interferences is a load of horse shit.
On the contrary really. Global warming is a fact. There are several views about how it's happening, but they haven't yet reached a legitimate consensus. People may still argue and debate regarding the noticeability of the effects, but the official position is that it is indeed scientific fact and it threatens society in many forms.
But, I digress. My favorite month would be April. Radiant sunlight, puffy clouds with silver linings, mildly cool wind, and a light drizzle to top it off. That is my preference of weather. Yes, December has the holidays, my birthday, and New Year's Eve, I acknowledge that, but they're becoming a bore, and having to shovel the car out of six inches of snow in the morning is a goddamn drag.
December is a drag. I wouldn't mind if Christmas was in a different month, but I guess it is what is is.
Also, as I presume you know, the world is currently coming out of a mini Ice Age, that covered most of the Medieval period, by which we have currently left. After leaving the Ice Age, the world begins to rise in temperature over the course of x many years.
I'm not denying that human interferences have affected the world in other ways, but we are the not the cause for global temperature rise.
I may have unintentionally gotten the wrong idea from your reply to aListers, as he didn't really touch on the subject of what the "cause" of global warming was.
However, the evidence for change in climate is unequivocal. According to today's scientists, they do claim humans are likely the blame to the "increase" of average global temperatures since the mid-20th century, and that is linked to the increase of man-made greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Climate always changes, it's inevitable. But to this sudden increase of temperature, humans are likely the cause. That has been proved with 90% certainty.
Again, humans may contribute to "Global Warming" but we are certainly not the complete cause of it. Rather, I think that natural change got the ball rolling, and we just made it larger.
But it's no use either way. Agree to disagree?
That's a strawman fallacy. I've never implied that humans were the complete cause of global warming. Quite actually, mentioned the opposite, more than once.
You have said earlier that humans were not responsible for the temperature rise, now you contradict your earlier idea, and agree that humans have made it larger.
In seriousness though, I was just pulling your leg. I apologize for the sudden lack of eloquence in this comment, you know I tease hard. ^^ It's not like me to get carried away on a topic like global warming. Why don't we end this subject before it turns into a Seinfeldian Conversation?

I usually just go along with the year as it goes. Always loved October and November though, mostly 'cause of the cold temperatures and the way the air is clearer and less humid. Unfortunately down here in SC, temperatures take longer to drop, which really sucks. :P
